Help for Richard Janne while he battles COVID

Update: We are sorry to have to announce that Richard Janne went peacefully to his Heavenly home today, Wednesday, September 29, 2021.

The family wishes to thank all those who prayed in Richard’s behalf. Know your prayers gave him comfort and peace. Information about services and memorial will be announced as they become available. Per family request no flowers or food be sent to the home at this time. We all loved Richard and will miss him dearly!

We ask if you are able ro still help, the money will go to his wife Gaye to help with expenses.

Hi Friends! I am starting a GoFundMe for Richard and his wife Gaye while he is out of work stuck in the hospital battling COVID.

At this time he is hospitalized and been placed on a CPAP. He has Double Pneumonia and they are fighting to keep his o2 SATS up. Speaking to him on the phone, to say I am worried would be an understatement.

For those that don't know Richard. He is a man that would give his shirt off his back for ANYONE in need without question! He served Sedgwick County for many years until retirement as a Firefighter/EMT, He mentored countless Firefighters and EMTs like me to help better serve our communities.

After Retirements Richard then started the PinkHeals Wichita chapter (Pink Firetruck) and has been all over Kansas and the USA supporting women of all cancers raise money to help communities, individuals and to bring awareness. He has a lifetime of serving others!

Richard is not one to ask for help, because he is usually the one providing it! I know he has helped many of you over the years, he has helped countless individuals, communities and served Sedgwick County proudly. It's our turn to help Richard Janne!

ALL funds raised will go to his wife Gaye while Richard is in the hospital to help with the medical costs and day to day funds (mortgage, utilities etc..) Richard is currently not able to pay while stuck in the hospital.

We also ask that you keep Richard in your prayers, asking for quick healing and to keep his o2 sats up so he does not have to be placed on a vent! Prayers of comfort for Gaye as she eagerly waits for Richard to come home!

I know these have been tough times, but Richard needs your help! Please help if you are able, and please share this with your friends and family! Every little bit will help!
