On November 13, 2019, our brother Richard was coming home from work. He was about a block away and was t-boned. He suffered extensive injuries that will require at least 3 surgeries. He has to have 2 surgeries to repair his broken pelvis and a surgery to repair his neck. He also suffered many bruises and a broken ankle.
If anyone knows Rich knows that he is one of the most selfless humans on the planet. He is willing to serve in so many aspects of life and expects nothing in return. He is one of the funnest and enjoyable people to have in your life. You don't ever have a conversation with him without some sort of laughter in it. Speaking of laughter, he seriously has the BEST laugh! He makes you feel like the most important person when he talks to you. He is never one for handouts, but is willing to be the one handing out. He is one of the hardest workers you will meet. This is an extremely difficult time for Rich and his wife Harmony along with his family and friends.
His stay in the hospital will be weeks and his recovery will be at least a year. There will be many ups and downs for him and his wife Harmony. She has to travel from southern Orange County to Los Angeles and take time off work to be there for Rich. Richard will be out of work for an undetermined amount of time. They do have health insurance, but they will incur expenses because of loss of work and traveling.
Richard is the 2nd oldest of 8 kids. The uncle to too many nieces and nephews to count. He is a huge part of our family and there are many that have reached out wanting to know what they can do to help. Harmony specifically asks for prayers. If you can help financially in any way, I know that they would appreciate it.
Please please keep them in your prayers.
Thank you!
We have also set up a VENMO account if you feel more comfortable donating there.
Please let us know if there are any issues with it.
