UPDATE:

We’ve been able to get in contact with a vet who is willing to work with us for Reuben’s surgery and what was donated has been such a tremendous help to get him treated, thank you all for your kindness ❤️

Hi, we are Liz and Frankie, Reuben’s parents, and to most who know us know how much we love our dog, Reuben. He is our first baby and the best cuddle bug.

He was initially having difficulty urinating for the past few months, even after multiple doctor visits we were unable to diagnose the issue. He began urinating blood this and we took him into the emergency vet, where we found out he has bladder stones and a major one stuck in his urethra, which he will need emergency surgery for. If left untreated, it could be incredibly life threatening.

Unfortunately, the hospital does not offer payment options and any type of loan offered would not cover his surgery. With a new baby and a recent move, it is near to impossible for us to be able to afford this on our own at the moment. We ask family, friends, and anyone who loves fur babies , if you are able to help Reuben in any way, we would greatly appreciate it. We love Reuben and want to keep him with us as long as we can.
