Help for Recovery from surgery for Martha Bullock

Dear Friends,

Our friend and Sister in Christ Martha Bullock is having shoulder replacement surgery on July 20th. Luckily, Martha’s surgery will be mostly, although not completely, covered. They estimate her recovery period will be about 3 months. We have known Martha for many years and have seen her persist through many challenges. Martha has been sober for 29 years but is currently struggling with significant pain, limiting her daily life activities. She’s had back surgery and recovered. She’s quit smoking for almost 2 years. She persevered through the pandemic, like many did.

However, her monthly expenses will not be covered. We, her friends and former small group, have set up this go-fund me account to donate and would like to offer other friends who love and wish to support Martha an opportunity to contribute as well.

Since you know Martha, you know that she has a huge loving heart for her family and friends near and far. Despite her challenges, she maintains a strong joyful and compassionate heart to be there for others in any way she can. We and she believe her strong faith will carry her through this recovery period as well.
