We are starting this fundraising campaign to help my parents. On November 18, my dad, Thomas Jerome was taken to the hospital with what turned out to be a subdural hematoma, or a slow brain bleed. We are very fortunate that he got to the hospital in time and they were able to relieve the pressure on his brain with emergency surgery. The surgery was deemed successful, however Dad still has a very long road to recovery. It will be months (at the very least) before he is able to resume "normal" activities.

As many of you know my Mom and Dad also went through a house fire in March of 2020. They are still also recovering from the loss of their home of 50 years and many of their belongings. And now we have Dad's brain injury to add to the list of challenges they are facing. We don't know what exactly we will need to help with Dad's recovery, but there will be lots of appointments and different therapies to help him get back to himself. This fundraiser is to help defray some of those costs.

I know there are a lot of organizations asking for help in this season of giving. If you are able to spare a small amount to help Tom and Barbara, it would be so very much appreciated.
