Help for Randi-Lynn and Noah Gagnon

I'm starting this go fund me/fundraiser to help fund the cost of traveling/lost wages/ fees and anything else needed to help with the costs associated with being at Noah's side while he undergoes treatment for Cancer.

In October Noah got a MRI scan to find out what was causing him pain in his hip and back. At only 17 and a healthy althete we couldn't figure it out. They found a mass.

In November after further testing and imaging w were told Noah had a tumor and he would need a biopsy to determine the biology of the tumor.

On December 5th we received the worst news we never expected. Noah has Pelvic Osteosarcoma. A high grade and aggressive bone cancer that has now spread from the bone and into the surrounding soft tissue which created the tumor. This type of cancer spreads to the lungs 85% of the time. The treatment has to be just as aggressive as the Cancer and time is a factor. Noah starts with ten weeks of inpatient Chemo followed by surgery to remove the cancerous bone in the pelvis and the tumor surrounding that and then 10 more weeks of inpatient chemo again. He will have time in between for healing after the chemo and surgery. The treatment will take approximately 1 year assuming all.goes to plan. Noah started Chemotherapy at Children's Hospital in Detroit on Dec 16th. The days of missed work, cost of travel and other costs are just another hurdle to overcome in this never ending nightmare.
