Help for Raise The Children Ministry in Uganda

This is an ongoing fundraiser, no specific target figure, to help with all the regular expenses of rent and food etc......

My name is Alex and I recently met Muwonge Badru through Facebook. I'm became aware of his work with Raise The Children Ministry, an orphanage in Uganda. He started caring for 5 children in 2018 and now, with the covid pandemic, he has 25. Without a safe home these children face life on the streets, being abused, starvation and disease. Life is a constant struggle to stay safe and keep a roof over their heads and with the recent terrorist attacks in the nearby capital of Kampala, things couldn't be more urgent. We recently helped raise €300 towards their next 4 months rent but there is a lot more we could do to help. The children need food, clothing, shoes, mattresses and mosquito nets, to name a few.

I started this fundraiser to reach out to my community and make it easier for people to donate as I know some people found it difficult to donate through their website. This way I can send the funds straight over.

I hope you can find it in your hearts to donate even a small amount. A little goes a long way and it will let these children know they are not alone and they have not been forgotten by the rest of the world.

I will post updates so you can see how the money has been used and how it's helped.
