Help for Pippa Daspit

Recently our 8 year old daughter Pippa became suddenly stricken with a mysterious and severe neurological condition. At this point, she has stopped being able to speak, walk, and is having difficulty eating, seeing, and hearing, and is in a lot of physical pain. Her bodily functions continue to shut down. She’s been hospitalized 3 times and we realize we may need to take her to a facility out of state to get her the help she needs. Right now our path is still murky as we try to even understand the cause of it - is it it functional neurological disorder , dysautonomia, or something else. We are also looking at going to an undiagnosed disease facility. All of this, of course, will cost an unimaginable amount but our only priority now is getting Pippa better.

Her mom Kelly (me) is a public school speech therapist who cannot currently go to work, her dad Tommy is still trying to do his photography work, and our 18 year old son Wilder is saving for college next year while working and finishing high school.

Right now I feel like we’re in a nightmare we can’t wake up from. Pippa is the most dynamic, sweetest, loving child! To watch her go through this breaks all our hearts. We just want our precious Pippa to get better. We appreciate any donations, of any amount, as we try to help our daughter.
