Help for Piccalo

Hi, my name is Bill Lohnes and I'm raising money to help my dear friend Vincent and his precious kitty Piccalo.

An unexpected trip to the animal ER for Piccalo today. I thought he had ingested strips of plastic from a garbage bag. He was clearly in distress and was meowing and his paws were trying to take a foreign object out of his mouth. When I looked in his mouth I didn't see anything. Like humans, we get things stuck in our throats from time to time. The vet first said that it should pass, but he didn't improve overnight.

This morning I checked his poo box. He never went to the bathroom. When I tried to feed him he refused food. So I decided to take him back to the vet. $800 later I got horrible news. Piccalo has 2 nickel size objects his body. One in his stomach and one in his lower intestine. One could be a bell, the kind inside of a kitty toy and the other is undetermined. The cost to do this surgery to remove these items starts at $4,700 plus the $800 I've already paid.

Times are a bit tough at the moment and I don't have this kind of money to spend on my little man. The only other option is to put him down. I agreed to do so but at the last minute I changed my mind.

Right now he doesn't seem to be in pain but surgery may be needed sooner rather than later.
