On November 11, 2020, the Philippines experienced Typhoon ‘Vamco’ aka Typhoon ‘Ulysses’. This caused severe flooding which forced the dams in different provinces  to open up the gates. Almost 3.7 million Filipinos were affected in 8 different regions  from Metro Manila all the way to the north of the Philippines. 


Sadly, my husband Marvin and I were not exempt from this. The typhoon’s flood was chest high in our area, it submerged our cars and affected parts of our home. With our sibling’s love and support, they provided my family and I a home to stay in as we were trying to get back on our feet. Our friends also provided us with other necessities like food. This was a truly humbling experience to accept. 


Thanksgiving is just around the corner. Now that we’re back on our feet, we’d like to give back to members of the community less fortunate than us. 


We’d like to seek assistance in helping our fellow Filipinos recover. The money that will be raised from this initiative will directly go to the typhoon victims to provide them with basic goods and necessities. Half of the funds will directly go to the victims in Tuguegarao which will be bought there by my dear friend for over 20 years, Febe Paat . Marvin and I will be the custodians of the rest of the funds and it will be used to purchase dry goods such as blankets, hygiene kits, etc. and will be handed over to Hands of God Charity Works  for proper distribution.


We are hoping that you can send a little something for the Philippines and also support Double Rule in this endeavor.
