My name is Elizabeth and I am a close friend of Peyton's. I have been helping him out a bit in the last couple weeks, and he agreed to let me start this fundraiser for him.

Peyton has been plagued by back and sciatic pain for quite a while now. Three weeks ago he was diagnosed with three lumbar spine disk fractures, with possibly more in the thoracic spine area as well.

Today he was admitted to the hospital for further care, diagnostic work, and treatment.

Peyton is unable to walk without assistance (and at that, only a couple steps, really), and is unable to drive. We've been able to arrange medical transport for him, but will need to use that service again when he is released from the hospital, and likely will need the same service for follow up visits. There will be co-pays, mobility aid equipment, and other related expenses like meal delivery (he lives along and can't cook for himself right now) on top of the large stack of bills this has already generated. The medical transport is approx $300 round trip each time, and his insurance company denied any coverage for it.
