Help for Peter Decius, in the Archie Creek fire

Peter has been connected to the North Umpqua since he was 2 months old---first with his family, whom I knew as a child as founding members of Steamboat Inn under Frank and Jeanne Moore, and more lately as the cheery mail carrier for all of Toketee Route, from Idleyld Park to the Toketee Ranger Station.  (Peter's sister reminds me that he used to be a Forest Service firefighter in the 70's and certainly understands the perils of that particular profession!)
Pete's rental house was the old octagonal one on Moore Hill---and now it is gone, just like Frank and Jeanne's great log house.  Peter is living on Social Security and although he is protesting, he could really use some help with living expenses, since he did not have rental insurance.
