Hi, my name is Laura. In am from Acapulco Mexico, where I grew up. I now live in Canada and I want to help my hometown.

Acapulco, Mexico, got hit by Hurricane Otis, a category 5 Hurricane, last October 24/25 (almost a week ago) during the night. The devastation is enormous.

This is a city of more than 1 million people and ALL areas are greatly affected. People in many areas still don't have running water, electricity, or food.

My family and friends in our community still don't have electricity, running water and many don't have food.

Would you help me meet my goal of $1000 to be able to send the money to one of the leaders in that community or my mom, to buy food, water, supplies that are needed, and the most basic necessities.

I will make sure that the money you donate gets to one of the leaders of our small community who is a personal friend of the family and mine, and my mom, in Fracc, Las Playas, Caleta, Acapulco. The money will be used to buy food, water, basic needs products, toiletries, and they can deliver the items to my mom's community.
