
Help for Payton Robbin's
On Friday, January 29th, Chris and Teffany Robbin's 4yr. Old daughter Payton Robbin's started experiencing seizures and high fever. She was rushed to the hospital. Sunday, January 31st, Payton started experiencing seizures again. She was airlifted from Lake Charles Memorial Hospital to a Lafayette Pediatric Hospital where she stayed 8 days in ICU. She was then transferred to another Pediatric ICU Hospital in Baton Rouge.
After running numerous test, It was determined that Payton had contracted a virus called encephalitis. This is a rare neurological disorder characterized by inflammation of the brain. She has developed brain damage and is currently undergoing a 21 day virus treatment. After this treatment she will have to remain in the hospital for rehabilitation. Payton will have to relearn basic life functions such as walking and talking again. This kind hearted, full of life, little girl has a tough road ahead of her.
This fund is being set up to help with Payton's medical expenses. The Robbin's family have already been financially strained due to losing everything in the previous two hurricanes. They appreciate your generosity and prayers.
