Hi, I am Cathy, trying to raise funds for my sister Patricia (Patty, Patsy). Patty was recently diagnosed with advanced liver disease due to her liver storing too much iron. Her liver diagnosis was not caused by alcohol abuse.

One week ago her immune system decided to work against her and attack and destroy her platelets. This led to a 12-hour nosebleed and the inability of her body to clot. She is now in need of an urgent liver transplant.

At present, she is in the intensive care unit at Roper hospital. Her condition has steadily become life-threatening. While she is in this condition, her bills still need to be met, including her medical insurance premium along with her co-payments for the hospital. Her paid sick time and annual leave are about to run out.

I am trying to raise enough funds to cover her mortgage and bills while she is in the hospital and recieving medical follow-up treatment and she can return to work.
