Patricia and Ernie Casarez are loved and adored by so many in their community.  Many people say she is an amazing encourager, a true nurturer, and she "gives the best hugs."Pat is someone that I immediately connected with at an event for children in the foster care system. Pat has a heart for all vulnerable children and has spent her life serving these precious kids. Our sweet and loving Pat suffered a stroke on Sunday, October 18th and has several months of recovery ahead of her. We are heartbroken, and are praying for complete recovery. These are such uncertain times, and Pat really needs us to nurture her this time! The Casarez family has endured a lot during this pandemic, as Ernie recently recovered from surgery, and they had a leak in their home which dug into their savings. There are concerns with her mobility and her home needs modifications that will be costly. We have asked the family what would help them the most, and they reluctantly said there's areas in the home, specifically the master bath, that will require accessibility improvements. I know we can help Pat and Ernie, who have always given so much to their community. We are asking for your help in coming alongside the Casarez family so that Pat can return home safely and continue on the road to a full recovery! Anything you can give is humbly accepted and we just want our Pat back and we need her hugs! It is my pleasure to serve Pat, Ernie and their family in helping to organize this fundraiser.
