Prayers 4 Parker

Hi, my name is Ashley (mom to this handsome little man). Parker was diagnosed the 1st time with Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis when he was just 20 months old. Tumor the size of a golf ball that ate through his left temporal bone. He had titanium mesh placed over the open skull. Two surgeries and 1 year of chemo and as far as we knew he was in the clear. Just 11 months after he finished treatment Parker was diagnosed again with recurrence of LCH. This time Parker had 1 tumor on top of the back of his skull and 3 on the inside of his brain. Parker again had 2 more surgeries, they were able to remove the tumor on top of the skull and said chemo should take care of the 3 inside his brain which thank God it did. After another 6 months of chemo Parker was in the clear. Parker has been clear for almost 2.5 years. Parker was diagnosed shortly after his 1st journey of chemo with Diabetes Inspitus. His pituitary gland was affected by the chemo and is now on a hormone that he will need to take for the rest of his life since his body now no longer creates a hormone that makes him able to hold his pee.
In the past month we have come to find out Parker will be needing more chemo. He has already had an MRI of his skull, which 2 more tumors were found. One on the back left part of his skull and 1 larger tumor behind his eyes. Parker had been complaining of headaches and saying his eyes had been bothering him. After an appointment with the ophthalmologist it was clear he needed to get back into Hemotology/ Oncology for repeat scans to see what was going on inside his head. As of now there are 2 tumors, we are now trying to raise money to help with the cost of a PET scan and for surgery and the start of chemo. Insurance is only covering so much and it was already a fight for them to cover his MRI. His PET Scan alone out of pocket cost is going to be $4,900. Not including surgeries, port placement, chemo, or any hospital stays. Anyone who knows me personally knows my kids are my world. I will do anything and everything possible to make their lives better. I hate the thought of needing to ask for help but I will suck up my pride and do what I can for my son. Please if you find it in your hearts to help just know it is going to help my son get the treatment he needs to live another day. This last round of chemo is his last option before we get to needing a bone marrow transplant. After that my boy is out of options. Please help us in his fight.
