Help for Parker and her parents

We would like to thank everyone for the continued prayers for our precious grand daughter Parker!  We have been blessed by so many friends and family reaching out to check on Parker, Lindsey, Chance and Maverick!  Many of you have asked how you can help.   We decided to do a Go Fund Me, for those who would like to help with a financial donation.  As many of you know, Parker was diagnosed with severe ventriculomegaly at 20 weeks gestation.   This condition caused Parker's ventricles to dilate to around 4 cm (normal newborn ventricles are around 1 cm).  This build up of fluid in Parker's brain caused severe pressure which most likely has affected her brain development.  Parker and Lindsey were being treated at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, delivery was to be scheduled near her due date of January 19th.  Lindsey's water broke unexpectedly on December 18, 2020 and she was flown by emergency to Kansas City, where Parker was delivered at 7:11 P.M.   Two days later Parker had brain surgery to put in a shunt, which will work slowly over the next few months to drain fluid from her ventricles.  We have already seen a drastic improvement in the size of Parker's head as the fluid is decreasing...it is truly amazing!  Parker is our little Christmas miracle, she continues to defy all odds and improve each day.  Her next milestone will be learning to bottle feed.  At this point she has not developed a gag reflex, which is required to bottle feed, as she could choke and aspirate.  The therapist's do not know if this is a result of brain damage or prematurity.  Please pray this will resolve itself very soon!  Again...please most importantly continue to pray for Parker!  We are seeing God work through her in so many ways!  Any financial help you can offer would be so very appreciated!  Lindsey and Chance have had to relocate to Kansas City for an undetermined amount of time...more then likely several weeks to possibly months (depending on Parkers progress).  They will have mounting medical bills and time off work that will be unpaid.  Again, please PRAY for Parker first and foremost....and any financial help would be a blessing to them as well!  God bless you all!  <3
