Hi! My name is Karen and I am starting this fundraiser for my friend Pam in this time of need. As some of you know, Pam has been dealing with the illness of her husband for some time and is now dealing with her own illness. Last Monday evening when Pam didn’t show up for her bowing league I phoned her. She was disoriented and couldn’t finish a sentence. It was impossible to have a conversation with her. Pam could not tell me her address. With the help of our bowling secretary we found her address and I called 911. At approximately midnight, Pam’s son Mike sent me a text to let me know Pam was admitted to the hospital and they were running tests. Tuesday I learned it was a stroke. After a week in the hospital she has been released but must live with her son and daughter-in-law until hopefully one day she will be well enough to come back home. Pam’s husband is still hospitalized. The medical bills are outrageous for Pam and she could use all the help she can get. I’m asking you to please give what you can to make this holiday season a bit better for her. Unfortunately she had to spend thanksgiving in the hospital.
