Help for our mothers end of life arrangements

As some of you may know, we lost our mom, Teresa Curry Plosz, unexpectedly on December 2, 2021. Unfortunately, she did not have any prior arrangements in place, as at only 59 years old, we thought we had so much more time on Earth with her.

My sister and I both just purchased homes in August and October of this year and are not exactly in the position to cover the entirety of the expenses for her end of life arrangements. Our dad has stepped up and offered to help, but we are having an incredibly hard time allowing this all to fall on him.

It was our moms wishes that she be cremated and for her ashes to be spread within the Great Smoky Mountains. She was very adamant, for as long as we can remember, that she did NOT want a funeral, but rather a celebration of her life. So, we plan to have a memorial for her when Covid eases up a bit.

If anyone is able to contribute to the expenses, we very much appreciate every last penny.
