Help For Our Friend Dave

Hello Friends,
Many of you may know Dave Huntsman if you've worked in San Diego CA. He has been involved in event production management in many roles for about 35yrs. I met him when he was the client producing projects for Sempra Energy,10 or more years ago. He's always been a great guy to work with, and treated staff and crew with the upmost respect. We've always stayed in touch, and I count him as one of my best friends.
Around the New Year 2019, Dave accidentally injured his left foot while at home, breaking 3 toes, and spent a couple of weeks doing his best to heal, and finish up some work related projects. All seemed to be going well until he started experiencing serious pain in his foot, and worsening of other related symptoms more recently. He went to the hospital and was diagnosed with a more serious infection & necrosis, either from a pinched blood vessel supplying blood flow to his foot, and or an undetected problem that was not treated initially. This condition was a medical emergency that resulted in the amputation of his effected toes, and extended hospitalization to stop the infection. He has been released, but will require several more weeks to heal, with rehabilitation scheduled.
Dave has been working Freelance for the last couple of years, and dependent on this as his main source of income. I know that many of you can relate to how devastating a serious injury or illness can impact friends, co-workers, and families. In Dave's case medical bills, living expenses, and not being able to work for this period has put him in a very difficult position financially.
As a friend, I'm reaching out to you to help me raise some funds to help Dave with some immediate day to day, month to month, and medical expenses. Dave lives modestly, but things have snow balled, and he needs our help and assistance to get through this difficult period. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
