These hackers cleared out her checking account and all of her available cash. The bank has reviewed the situation and no compensation will be available. In this case, the thieves took over her computer and her phone number. Using as their cover her trust in Microsoft to help her solve a crashed computer. They used her to help themselves to her funds.
