Help for our dear friend Anna

On Saturday February 2nd our dear sister/friend/hairdresser Anna J. experienced an awful accident in her apartment. A mini fireplace exploded in her kitchen and she was caught on fire and now is recovering from severe burns at the Sunnybrook Hospital burn unit.
Her hands are badly burnt, along with her chest and some of her face, meaning she's going to need some time to recover. As of right now, Doctor's are unsure how long it will take.
For those of you who know Anna well, she's a talented and dedicated hairdresser and owns a salon in Bloor West Village. As a small business owner who is self employed, her entire life is put into her business. Without being able to work for a month or maybe more is going to put a lot of stress on her as she won't have any way to pay the bills. Rent, taxes, salon supplies and maintenance is thousands of dollars every month. Most people who do not own a small business are not fully aware of how much this cost's every month. The cost to carry the business is more than what Anna can even make profit on and her business partner also cannot make enough to cover these costs alone.
The emotional and physical pain Anna is going through right now is something no one should ever have to experience. As her close family and friends we've created this GoFund to alleviate a bit of this pain so that she can have a little bit of the burden off her shoulders and can feel some comfort while she recovers.
We thank you all for your contributions and most of all your thoughts and well wishes. Anna is so beautiful inside and out, we only wish to bring her a fraction of the joy she gives us.
