My partner Nathan and I are hoping to raise some money to help our beloved boy, Sprocket. He’s a 19 month old Manchester Terrier and is our absolute world.

On the 7th of June our first daughter, Edith, was born. Sprocket fell in love with her at first sight and he was her absolute shadow. When Edith was 10 days old I was admitted to hospital with mastitis, requiring IV antibiotics and an extended hospital stay. While we were in hospital, our boy Sprocket got away from our dog sitter and got hit by a van.

The care he has received has been incredible but we’re now in a position where we need help to continue to fund his treatment and rehabilitation. Sprocket has undergone an operation to help fix the fractures to his pelvis, but he now needs another operation to try and fix his urethra, which sadly hasn’t healed on its own with time. Our £10,000 insurance has been used up on the care to date and the next operation and wider care is expected to cost an additional £7,000. We are extremely grateful that 4 vets at the practice he’s at have donated £4,000 to Sprocket, as they’ve fallen in love with our cheeky chappy. Any money we can raise through this fundraiser will help us get our little family back together.
