Donation protected
Some of you may know that our beloved Quincy, who has served many years edifying our youth with special needs and behavior challenges in both San Antonio, and Huntsville, TX. Quincy has been suffering from a relentlessly painful renal kidney disease and has been recently diagnosed with an even painful disease call calciphylaxis. He had started the process of dialysis and was adjusting to his new lifestyle. However, on September 20, 2021, his health took a turn and was hospitalized. During that stay, Quincy had to undergo surgery on his legs and many painful treatments.
On October 2, 2021, due to the special medical care, Quincy needs, he was transferred to a hospital in San Antonio. His wife who is in education as well had to use up all of her paid and unpaid leave for multiple weeks to make sure Quincy was getting the proper care while he has been making this lifestyle adjustment.
Due to various laws and timeframes, Quincy will not receive disability nor Medicare for at least 3-6 months from now. Unfortunately, due to the extent of his medical needs, Quincy is no longer able to work and provide for his family as he desires. The miscellaneous costs of trying to stay in good health, maintain his home, and provide for the little one still living at home along with one in college is becoming a financial struggle. This is why we are reaching out to you. We ask that you please consider helping out in any way, as the smallest amount would be a huge blessing.
Please help Quincy and his family lighten the financial load. If we can come together as one family, we can make this possible.
