Help for our beautiful mums funeral

UPDATE AT THE BOTTOM OF PAGE. 

February 2022 my mum of only 47 years old suffered a heart attack, she ended up in hospital for two weeks, with stent fitted and a two week stay in hospital they were able to send her home.

 She carried on having continual breathing and heart rhythm problems so was back and forth from hospital stays almost every few weeks. 

After being told it was probably anxiety for majority of the year, we were shocked when we got told the awful news that mum has terminal cancer and maybe just up to 2 months to live.

Without any delay they booked her for chemo the follwing week and radiotherapy for the week following the chemo end, to try to give her the best chance possible for more time with us.

We are now 3 months past chemo starting and have been informed it hasn't worked & has grown even more. 

While awaiting her radiotherapy this past week mums been struggling to swallow, cough etc. The doctors are telling us it would have grown more and now is pushing against her esophagus. 1st round of radiation was today. There is a 2 in 3 chance this will relieve the symptoms she's starting to have this past week. 

We don't know how much time mum has and I so don't want to waste that time sat at home with her staring at four walls. 

I'm calling for help from you to get her out and about with us and the kids, some lovely trips the next couple weeks while she's able and places to go and relax and be pampered like she deserves. I am also a mum of three and simply do not have the funds to be able to give my mum the send off I really hope to do for her. Funeral costs are £5000+ I can get government help at the time which will I've been informed will be around 800.

Other than me and my older sister (31) there is no other family to help us with any of this. 

I'm only 28 and my mum is my absolute world, she's the one I always turn to for everything.

I want to give something back to her that will put a smile on her face again, even if it's just a smidge of what's she's given me.

UPDATE: 5 months since mums diagnosis........This is so hard........before I could post this for help, my beautiful amazing mum got very poorly and was in and out of hospital with pain and lastly with breathing difficulties, she was so scared but kept fighting for so long, sadly no matter her fight she passed away this Thursday 09/02/2023 with me and my sister by her side 

I am still appealing for the help and support to try and get her the best send off possible,  as I know by ourselves alone we just could not accomplish this. 

I kept the original letter to you above the update just so I could still share with you just some of mums tough journey she had to take. 

She really didn't want to leave us and fought until the very end. 

My mum was the best mum for her kids and the best Granny I could of ever wished for our children.

My mum has had a tough life but she was always so strong at the face of it...I hope I can be just as strong as her during this hardest moment I'm now having to face without her. 

I can thankfully say she is with the Lord now and she can now finally rest.
