Help for Olivia's Brain Infection

Olivia is an 8 year old who plays Softball. As you can see in the image below she

developed a rather large bump on her head which actually ruptured. After rupturing, the doctor cleared her to play again. Then on Friday night ( Feb 21st) while at batting cages she became inconsolable and her parents took her home. After sometime Olivia was unable to be calmed so her parents took action and had her taken into the emergency room.
The emergency staff found that Olivia had an infection in her brain cavity. After 24 hrs of testing and waiting the neurosurgeons found that the infection has not gotten inside of the membrane protecting her brain. Amazing news for Olivia.
Unfortunately she still has to undergo surgery on Monday Feb 24th to clean out the infection. She will be in ICU until then and after surgery will be spending about a week in the hospital.
As we all know finding ourselves in an unexpected emergency can be emotionally, physically and financially challenging.

If you can donate even $20 to help Olivia's family that would be AMAZING.

THANK YOU for reading her story.
