Norma's Need
Donation protected
Through our donations may we form a helping hand from The Lord!
Norma is a Christian, friend, mother, grandmother, sister, and daughter whom never ceases to inspire those around her.
Norma experienced Bell's Palsy on Friday, July 25th resulting in facial and speech impairments. At the office her warm smile greets visitors, her loving nature makes work feel like home. Eager to get back to her normal routine, she returned to work Monday, August 5th. Disappointingly, she was unable to work the full day. To date, her diet and lifestyle remain restricted so her neurologist has referred her to a cardiologist. The increased medical expenses combined with now no income have dampened her spirits, but she remains hopeful the Lord will continue to provide.
Norma is a modest woman who has never lived beyond her means. She has worked for Montgomery County for a little over a year and recently achieved a huge personal accomplishment by purchasing a home in Montgomery County. Prior to joining Montgomery County, she worked many years for Fort Bend County. Any time accrued for sick, vacation and personal leave have been exhausted and she has been informed it will be at least another 4 weeks before she can begin thinking of returning to work; yet she is faithful that her return will be much sooner.
As we are all well aware, bills don't pause despite our inability to earn income :-(. Her work family is afraid the added stress of this financial burden is going to prolong her healing. If you are able, we ask that you please consider helping this wonderful woman, it will be much appreciated!
Thank you.
