Help For Nikki and Little Greyson

I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friend Nikki McDowell.

Nikki is a single mother to 15 year-old Rory and 10-day old Greyson. Nikki’s children are everything to her.

Greyson was born with clubfeet and diagnosed with a very rare condition known as Edwards Syndrome. Also known as Trisomy 18, this disorder occurs at a rate of 1 in every 2000 births. This genetic condition affects many parts of the body and little Greyson will require frequent visits to specialist doctors. He is currently on assisted feeding and will be undergoing orthopaedic treatment.

Born on February 1st, National Freedom Day, little Greyson beat the odds progressing day by day but is still in need of specialized medical care. He is definitely small but mighty!

Like most families in today’s world, Nikki must work to be able to cover her and her family’s expenses. Presently Nikki is on maternity leave from working at Boston Pizza in Barrie, Ontario and from her daily nanny job. She will need all the assistance she can get.

This GoFundMe campaign is a heartfelt plea for support. The aim is to raise funds that will alleviate financial stress for Nikki, allowing her to focus on what truly matters – Greyson's recovery and ongoing treatments, as well as cherishing precious family moments.
