Deciding to start this Gofund me wasn't an easy decision but after the month my brother and his family have had the decision became easy. On December 19th my nephew MJ broke his femur. He is not quite 3 years old and is in a SPICA cast for it to heal, this is basically a full body cast. His mom, Nikki, had to be home with him full-time due to the fact he cannot sit up and can only be transported by an ambulance to Drs appointments. Both parents work full-time to pay the bills so this was already going to be a great hardship for them. But on New Years Day Nikki became very sick very quickly. My brother, Todd went in to check on her and she was grey and very cold to the touch. He called 911 immediately and she was transported to the hospital. She had internal bleeding and the Drs had no idea where it was coming from. The situation became dire and she was in a fight for her life. After an emergency surgery to remove her spleen, as the Drs figured out it was an aneurysm in her spleen, and 6 blood transfusions, she came through the other side, by the grace of God. Nikki is still healing and in the hospital. Now the bills are mounting along with what Im sure are going to be very large hospital bills. Donations of any size would be greatly appreciated. Also prayers for their family to come through this very stressful time would also be appreciated.
