Help For New TBI Treatment

Hi, my name is Jennifer and I am fundraising to help my husband, Louie.

As most of you know, on 12/1/2022 he was in a horrendous car accident. By all accounts he should not be alive, but by God's grace he is still with us.

After surgery to fix his broken back and a short time in ICU and Rehab, he was home in time for Christmas. With no outside lacerations the brain injury was put to the side.

It took me seven months advocating for him to even see a doctor who understands TBI. As things progressed, he began deteriorating and I began my search elsewhere.

As a member of the NC Brain Health, for my own journey, I discovered Apex Brain Center. After speaking with the doctor, who confirmed Louie's behavior is typical of TBI, he told me about their world renowned treatment center and Louie is a candidate. Yay!

The problem is the cost. With him being out of work and little short term disability funds, we have depleted our savings. Despite my hesitation, we need help. We miss Louie, the boys miss their dad, and we need him.
