Lilly went in for a spay surgery on Thursday morning, and all went well.she came home that afternoon and all was fine until Friday morning when she began bleeding through the in surgery site. Lots of blood. I immediately put a pressure wrap on her and called the vet.
She received a blood transfusion, fluids, and another surgery to find the cause of the bleeding, nothing was found  except lots of blood in her abdomen. It was suggested that if I wanted to save her, she 
needed critical care. She was transferred to
 Cornell University Small Animal Clinic.  I know she will get the best of care there, but care costs. The estimate for her care was $3000-$5000. Half of the high estimate needed to be left as a deposit. I didn't have all of it, so I made several phone calls and scrapped up the deposit. This is incredibly hard for me to ask others for money, but Lily is my heart and I have to give her a chance. She is only 3 years old.  We have recently started agility training which is good exercise for both of us. Mostly for me, she can exercise her self and she does. It is so hard to see her so sick. If you could spare anything, it would really be appreciated. The money will be used to pay vet costs . I do't know how long she will be there or even if she will make it, but I need to help her.
