Help for my mom, Heather Trolio

Hi my name is Haley Trolio and my mom has chronic ITP, idiopathic thrombocytopenia purpura, most people that know her would never believe she has a life long and life threatening illness. It is an extremely rare blood disease where antibodies attack platelets, destroying them, making her succeptable to excessive bleeding. Internal bleeding is the biggest fear. Stress is a huge trigger. My mom has had this disease for 12 years now where in most people diagnosed the disease cures itself within a year or so. There is no cause or definitive cure. She has had many treatments to help her stay healthy and alive and up until a few months ago our insurance has taken care of a large part of her medical expenses. Due to what Anthem is calling a "mix up", she has not been able to receive her treatment since 4/27/17 which costs $3500 a week!!! If that isn't bad enough Anthem is taking back a huge chunk of money from her hematologist which falls on our family to re-pay. We are by no means a wealthy family and would normally figure things out on our own, but it's getting too scary for us knowing she isn't getting the treatment she needs until the insurance issues are resolved. We need our mom healthy, she does everything for us and is always going out of her way to help others, but she will tell you she is just fine, when she's really not.
