Hello beautiful people of the world,
I hope you can help me. We created this campaign to seek support in the face of the terrible situation we are living through.
My name is Hosam, and I’m from the Gaza Strip.
I’m still alive after one year and nine months of ongoing genocide against my people.
There’s something that always goes through my mind:
Why so much hatred?
Why can’t we just live our lives?
Why can’t there be humanity for everyone?
Why do we always live in injustice?
Are we really so different from the rest of the world?
We’ve lost hope in everything.
I’m in my twenties now, and I haven’t achieved any of the dreams I once had. Even the small dreams I used to fulfill have lost their meaning—everything has been bombed.
I spent over five years working as a team, saving money, and my dream was to work on social media to get support and move forward. But it didn’t work out. I lost my equipment, and I had to stop. Everything has been paralyzed, nothing works anymore.
I am extremely tired.
Because of everything that’s happened, even existing has become exhausting.
After a year and eight months, I don’t even know how to safely express my life to others.
I wanted to support my family, myself, and others in need.
I used to smile, even in my fragility, and people would laugh at me. They said it looked like I was hoping to find a real friend—a true friend who would stand by me in difficult times. Because in this life, you can’t always count on anyone.
I started documenting some drawings. I did everything on my own because I’ve always been alone. I never had support or guidance. I shared my drawings on Instagram, but I couldn’t build good content because there was no support. Then I started posting stories about my daily life—how I cope, how I live. Even though I gained a few more followers, I still didn’t succeed.
Honestly, life only feels good when you succeed.
I’m someone who keeps taking small steps despite everything, and I will keep challenging my pain. I will do everything I can. When I wake up, I’m always alone. Every day is lonely, with no one around.
I’m poor on the inside (and I have no income either).
But I’ll keep going with everything I have, even as time goes on.
My wishes are no longer big.
I just want a little peace—to spend my days in calm.
To sit on a chair by the sea, take a deep breath, and say to myself:
“Finally, everything is okay.”
I’ve never let myself have that.
But we’re going through extremely hard times.
If you’d like to help me, this is the link to my life:
Thank you for reading this far and for making a difference.
What we’re living through—no one should have to go through.

About the organizer and the beneficiary:
The name and nationality listed on this campaign will appear as Héctor Signes Villalba, from Spain.
I’m Héctor, and I’m the organizer of this fundraiser.
I created this campaign after a Mexican photographer friend of mine, who works closely with a journalist from Gaza named Ahmed Younis, told me about Hosam’s story.
Thanks to their connection, I learned about Hosam’s situation and felt moved to help.
The introduction to Hosam's story was written by Ahmed.
All funds raised will go directly to Hosam via PayPal, to be used for food, medicine, and other urgent needs.
