Help for my father who had his leg amputated

Donation protected
I started this GoFundMe in hopes of helping my dad who on January 23rd of this year had to have his left leg amputated under his knee. My dad is a 50 year old single parent and has been battling type 2 diabetes for most of his adult life. In 2008 he stepped on broken glass, which led to an infection that required the amputation of one of his toes. It was all down hill from there. His foot never healed completely and after many visits to the doctor and hospital, in 2010 he was told that he needed to have surgery to remove another toe. In 2015 he had another infection that caused the amputation of half his foot. Being a single parent, he still had to provide for my sister and myself and with him going back and forth taking us to school, cooking, working and doing things around the house, his foot never completely healed after surgery. Now 2019 after many surgeries, many complications, and the doctors trying to find ways to save his leg, it just became too much and the infection in his foot spread to his bone and his blood. It was either amputate his leg or risking the chance of my father losing his life. I'm just asking for some help to get a handicap ramp and help redoing the bathroom so that my dad doesn't have such a hard time getting around. Anything helps and we appreciate it from the bottom of our hearts. Thank you so much in advance ❤️
