El es Franklin Alexander Cariaco Salazar, un venezolano de 40 años que viajo arriesgando su vida por la selva del Darién, para así llegar hasta los Estados Unidos en busca de una mejor calidad de vida y así poder ayudar a sus familiares en Venezuela. El sábado 23 de febrero salió con un amigo venezolano a un local nocturno a compartir y disfrutar un momento agradable, en Philadelphia ya que es el estado donde reside con su hijo mayor que depende de él económica y emocionalmente . En dicho local fue golpeado bruscamente por unas personas aún no identificadas por motivos xenofobicos. Dejándolo inconsciente en medio de la calle, fue trasladado de emergencia por la policía al hospital Temple university habitación 374 En el área de neurocirugía por los fuertes golpes que recibió en la cabeza que le afectaron a nivel cerebral, estuvo conectado bajo respiración artificial durante tres días, y aún no reacciona. Es por eso que a través de esta exposición de motivos solicitamos de su valiosa colaboración para cubrir los gastos médicos para mejorar su salud y jurídicos para que se haga justicia ante este acto de violencia tan atroz.
