Help Single Mom with Legal Battle

Wendy McAvoy and her 3 year old daughter Isabella live in Lovettsville, Virginia. She is a loving single mother and devoted Christian. She enjoys spending outdoor time with Isabella as well as indoor educational activities. Wendy and Isabella have a beautiful mother daughter bond. A little bit about the history behind her request. As mentioned, she currently lives in Lovettsville with her mom and dad, and daughter to which she is a full-time single mother. She is unable to work full or part-time for income due to personal reasons and responsibilities.

 

Her daughter Isabella does receive child support via her father, which was intermittent at best and not consistent. Isabella did not begin receiving support from her father until his hand was forced by the DCSE. This support, when it is received, goes directly to her daughter for her care. She has no other sources of support or even income such as through a job to help her pay additional expenses. 

 

Isabella's father was recently in a severe automobile accident where he sustained debilitating injuries which will cause him to lose work. Because of this, her father has filed a petition with the Loudoun County Court to cut off all support to her daughter because of his inability to work. Unless she finds legal assistance to help her file a motion to strike his court filings, her daughter will lose all financial support from her father.

Said legal counsel would assist her with forcing Isabella’s father to get disability so that Isabella can receive assistance.
