Help for my dad's teeth. (He's a Stage 4 Survivor)
Donation protected
Hello!
My dad, Ralph Isley, was diagnosed with stage 4 esophageal cancer that had also moved into his liver in December of 2018. He couldn't eat and was unable to even swallow water and lost 30 pounds in a few weeks time. He endured some pretty powerful chemo treatments and through that and with lots and lots of prayers from so many people, he was released from treatments in May of 2019 due to no cancer being detected! Praise God! He just had a follow up and still no signs of disease in his body.
The downside was the chemo took its toll on his already bad teeth and he now has almost none left. The ones he has are broken, useless, and have a tendency to get infected. He's gone to several dentists and at this point dentures are his only option. Dentures are expensive! The entire process will cost close to $6,000. They were going to wait until he could sign up for some insurance which would provide a $1,500 savings but he'd have to wait and it's heartbreaking to see my dad, who would do anything for anyone, and who's beaten cancer, suffer with this situation and not be able to eat much again.
If we can find 150 people to donate $10 each, we would hit our goal and he wouldn't have to wait on insurance. Myself and my siblings are going to try and pitch in the remaining amount to get the process started ASAP. obviously, if you'd like to help out more, we would be extremely grateful.
Thank you soooo much for taking the time to read this. There's so much more to his story and maybe I'll share some more with updates :)
