On Thursday, October 25th, my brother Brian suffered a significant stroke with a bleed near his brain stem.  Thankfully he is stable and after one week in the ICU was moved to the Neuro rehab unit. His speech is still suffering and he is struggling to move his left side. We are hopeful he will pull through this, however, the recovery is going to be a long process. With a little uncertainly at this point, we are keeping our fingers crossed that there will not be too much permanenrt damage. As we wait to see what happens, he is unable to work and his bills are piling up. Brian lives in Utah with his sons, and I am in California, so feeling a bit helpless that I can’t be there in person, thought I could assist from afar by raising some money to help pay for medical bills, mortgage payments/bills, and to support his sons during this time that they do not have their father. This would take a huge burden off of my family, so instead of having to figure out finances, can focus on the most important task at hand, the recovery of my Brother and the well being of his sons.
