Hello, my name is Sheri Alba and I am fundraising for my best friend Laura M. Guerra pictured here in happier times on Fremont Street in Las Vegas, our annual couples trip in October. This year my friend didn’t feel well enough to go and that was our first sign that my friend really was not feeling well. For many of you in the building industry who will see this page, you know Laura as the sweet, ever working, always volunteering board member of the LBA. You will be saddened to hear that Laura is now in the fight for her life. The doctor has diagnosed Stage 4 Liver cancer. We are believing, however that regardless of what doctors have to say, that God has the last word. The money raised here will go straight into her checking account for her to use for medical bills, home bills since she cannot work at this time and whatever need arises. I don’t want her to worry about money. I want her to think only about healing and coming back to us. Currently Laura is in San Antonio at Baptist Northeast working with her doctors to overcome some short term battles to get herself in to the condition needed to start treatments. Please pray for her. Add her to your prayer chains at church. Fast and pray some more. We know that Laura is loved by many and we are counting on her friends to show up and help out!
