Help for Marjorie Guidry of Stanford Hair
Ms. Marjorie Guidry is a native of Rosenberg, Texas. She is a generous woman of integrity and faith. She moved to California in 1993 and began working at Stanford Hair in 2001. She is a mother to many, including me. When COVID-19 hit and Stanford’s campus closed, Stanford Hair closed, too. The pandemic made it immensely difficult for Marjorie to earn a living. Without income for over a year, Marjorie relied on personal credit cards to cover her bills. Her debt total is about $25,000. More importantly, Marjorie's health challenges are so severe she can no longer work. She is a diabetic, but was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia this year and the medications are not working. The pain is horrible all over her body, day and night. Last year, she was rear-ended in a car accident and started physical therapy. In 2019, she had hand surgery caused by years of doing hair. Marjorie is a Medicare recipient, but it will not cover acupuncture or Chinese medicine, which would help alleviate her intense, chronic pain. Any amount you have in your heart will be cherished: $5, $10, $25, $50 or greater. The deadline to reach our fundraising goal is Wednesday, July 21. If you have any questions or would like to send Marjorie a card to make her smile, please reach out to me in the comments and I will help you.
Thank you all so much!
