Help for moonie the pigeon

Earlier today when driving to merewether beach with sunny and nyah (my twins) we spotted some kids poking what looked to be a sick puppy :( Lo and behold it was a baby pigeon..

We have named her Moonie.

Moonie has a severe case of pigeon pox and potentially an injury or tumor on the otherside of her face and will need vet care and antibiotics.

most of you may know that pigeons are considered pests in Australia but they are very intelligent, social and such gentle souls.

If I were to drop this bird at the vet, they would euthanise it, so that is not an option.

As an ex vet nurse, animal lover and pidge enthusiast I’d really like to see this little one get better, but I can’t do it without your help

every dollar will be put towards moonie and her care.

she wont be able to get released back into the wild after all of this - she has a forever home here with me - just need a bit of help getting her set up and sorted :)

I know it’s the worst time to ask, everyone is doing it so tough at the moment, but if you can spare $1-$5 it would be so appreciated.
