HELP MOM stay in Toronto

CAN YOU IMAGINE NEEDING LIFE SAVING MAJOR SURGERY IN A COUNTRY WHERE YOU COULDN'T SPEAK THE LANGUAGE?  That's bad enough but now imagine that your spouse can't be with you and you have to be there all alone.... that's what Aljadys is facing. That's why we're asking for help. 

Aljadys Solares Mendizabal, husband to Charlene is 38 years old and is the father of 12-year-old Laurent and 15 year-old Brayan. Stepfather to Brooklynne and Stephanie. Singer songwriter and entertainer from (Cardenas) VARADERO CUBA. Was married July 1, 2018 and in the fall of 2018 was discovered to have an enlarged heart and a blood clotting disorder. We thought his Condition was managed with some diet changes and medication. We hoped that when he got settled in Canada he would get on newer and better medication than is available in Cuba and his health would improve more.  We didn't realize it had gotten as serious as it has. On June 5th he lost consciousness twice and hit his head. An ambulance was called and he was taken to the hospital where a series of tests discovered that his condition is far worse than we thought. He was diagnosed with chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension caused by the many blood clots in his lungs. Additionally his heart is very enlarged due to the pulmonary hypertension, he also has a heart murmur. On the morning of June 8th he was transferred to the ICU and by afternoon he was crashing. He needed a central line and emergency life-saving measures were employed as he was transferred to Royal Colombian Hospital. his B.C. medical doesn't start till August 1st. Then on June 10 he was transferred to Vancouver General Hospital to access the specialists for his rare condition . The expenses to date are outrageous.  Travelling to and from Vancouver, paying for parking and meals plus lost wages that is really financially devastating for my mom who is already financially devastated due to having had cancer two years ago and incurred a sizeable debt at that time.  Mom has had to give up her second job that she was doing to pay down her debt in order to provide care for Aljadys. 

Additionally, he needs life-saving surgery that can only happen in Toronto so there will be expenses involved in getting to and from Toronto and for Mom to stay in Toronto with him. Donations don't need to be large so even a tiny little donation but spreading the word so that many people can make tiny little donations will help.
