Help for Mistress Isabelle

On Saturday, Mistress Isabelle was performing at Drag Brunch and went to one of her signature moves when she missteped and broke her ankle and tore her ligaments.  She is in a cast and unable to perform for the foreseeable future.  Her recovery will require patience while she heels the initial break in addition to months of rebuilding her strength before she will be able to perform again.

Mistress is not only a fierce performer with a kind heart but she is a full time independent drag performer- which unfortunately means she will need assistance as she will not be able to perform for the immediate future.  It is unknown how long it will be before she is back to her usually extraordinary self.  

Most Drag Queens are self employed independent contractors.  This means that health insurance is something that queens have to provide for themselves.  Unfortunately Misstress did not have health insurance so she will need the community's help to get her through this time.

There are some benefits being planned but she will need help financially.  The money raised in this fundraiser will be used for two things:

1) Assure that Mistress has the money to pay for bills including rent, utilities, car insurance, food, phone bill etc.

2) Help offset additional medical costs as Misstress did not have health insurance.
