Help for Mike Goodwin’s Medical Care

Many of you know my Father in Law (Mike/Michael Goodwin) or his business- Mike’s Customs. As some of you may know he had a stroke a few weeks ago. The Ischemic Stroke occurred on the left side of his brain, ultimately resulting in damage to the dominate side of his body. The Stroke caused him to have weakness, paralysis, memory loss, speech problems, balancing issues and confusion. It has also cause other health issues, which means he will need extensive physical, speech and occupational therapy. Like many small business owners, he does not have medical insurance. The medical bills, medications and regular household bills are continuously building up. My husband and I along with other family members are trying our best to give him the best care possible without causing him to worry about how the bills will get paid. Anyone who knows him personally knows that he has helped many people in this community. He would give the shirt off of his back to anyone in need. Being in this type of position has negativity impacted his pride. Any donation accepted will be put towards his medications, medical bills and daily bills such as groceries, etc. He was the sole provider in his household, so this was a big hit. My husband and I are very private people so we typically don’t do stuff like this, but my father in law can really use a lot of help at this point.
