Help for Michaelene and her family during recovery
Donation protected

She is still not breathing on her own, and has not regained consciousness since Saturday morning. Doctors have performed various brain scans that suggest her brain activity is minimal. We are just hoping for a miracle.
Richard and Michaelene share two adult children, one of whom is a lifelong traumatic brain injury survivor, who needs around the clock medical and personal care. Richard cannot face the mountain of hospital bills, living expenses and an empty food pantry while caring for his son and still be expected to come out of this OK. We are doing everything we can to help but it only goes so far.
We pray our grandmother will make it out of this, but we just don’t know. Only time will tell. Richard and his family don’t have that time to wait. They have to keep going while grandma recovers. We kindly ask for your helping hand during these unbelievably difficult times. We graciously accept ANY amount donation to help Michaelene’s family while they endure these devastating changes to their lives.
Our grandmother was a healthy and health-conscious woman, but we are learning that strokes can affect anyone. This stroke was a shock to all who know her. She is the matriarch of the entire family. A powerhouse leader of all. The flame that lights the way. She is the smartest, quickest and strongest woman I have ever met. In her absence she leaves children, grandchildren and two great grandchildren who cannot begin to imagine a life without her. We are beyond grateful that you would even take the time to read our plea to help our struggling family while we navigate through this extremely difficult time. Regardless of if you can donate or not, please keep my wonderful grandma Michaelene and our family in your prayers.
