Help for Michael J. Stemple and medical expenses
Donation protected
On 2/19/2022, our beloved brother, Michael J Stemple experienced a severe motor vehicle accident, leaving him with multiple traumas throughout his body. After completing his shift, Michael returned home from Sierra Vista, Arizona, when an oncoming vehicle struck him head-on. Michael was severely injured and due to his injuries from this accident was Air-Vac to Banner University Medical Center in Tucson, Arizona. He is currently in stable condition, with a fractured jaw, broken ribs, compound fracture to his leg, and ankles crushed with bruising throughout his body.
His family is reaching out to surrounding communities to assist our brother through this tragic event and help him in the expenses he is accruing due to his sad vehicle accident. Those who know our brother Michael know just how special a person he is.
Michael has a huge heart who loves his family, friends, neighbors and the little furry friends he rescued from the streets and abuse. He is a positive person, a comedian, someone who will make you laugh, and he is the most caring person you will ever know. Michael is well known within the community of Douglas, Arizona; it is his hometown. Because Michael loves to be around others, he worked for the City of Douglas for many years. And because he wanted to work with troubled teens and be part of their new direction in life, he worked as a program supervisor for Vision Quest, a program for troubled youths. Michael continued his passion for saving teens with Mary’s Mission in Sierra Vista and at Generations Group Home at the time of his accident. Through Generations Group Home, Michael continued his work of helping troubled teens/adolescents, which focused on giving young adolescents a vision for a fulfilling future. Michael has a passion for helping our troubled youth and wants to continue on this journey. Michael has always had a passion for protecting animals; his passion for rescuing dogs from the streets and abuse has been part of his personal journey; this is a passion that continues in him.
Michaels's biggest passion in his life is his love of faith; he is a man of God and follows his faith daily to guide him on his journey in life. We believe his faith saved him on this tragic day and removed him from any further harm. Michael is from Douglas, a community enriched in faith and where Michael follows and practices his faith, a guiding principle for his life. God is first in his life and all those around him in everything he does.
We are thankful first and foremost that Michael survived this horrific accident. Though he has multiple injuries, he is stable; he certainly has a long road to recovery and healing.
Because of the injuries he sustained and future treatment and therapy, he will still require ongoing medical treatment and cure for Inpatient hospitalization, Multiple surgeries, Rehab, and Skilled Nursing Home for some time after his release from Banner University Medical Center.
We are asking you to join us in helping our brother recover and transition back to his life as close as it was before his accident.
We invite your family to join our family in assisting Michael in his transition, to ensure his life continues to be successful and to continue to give him that drive to return to the life he had and accept the life changing and challenging issues he will face. If you ever meet our brother Michael, you will know just how special he is.
Thank you so much for your support, and God bless each and every one of you!
Please consider donating to help cover the cost of surgery, physical therapy, rehabilitation and accruing expenses. If you have ever met Michael and his family, you would know that they are a well-known family to the Douglas community. Now, it is our turn to return the favor. Please storm the heavens with prayers of healing to and for Michael.
Any amount is appreciated and will go directly to Michael Stemple.
