Hi, my name is Karen Gruber. My brother and sister-in-law Michael & Donna Figone lost their Grizzly Flatts home and nearly everything they own in the devastating Caldor fire last week. Thankfully they escaped with their lives and their animals. This fundraiser is to assist with their many needs as they work through the process of insurance claims and rebuilding. They hope to be able to buy a trailer to live in indefinitely until rebuilding becomes possible. Michael and Donna are among the hardest working people I have ever met. They escaped the fire late Tuesday night and Michael was back at work Friday morning. They will get through this, but could certainly use some kindness a generosity as they work through this difficult time.
