Help for Micah Watts and his family!!

Greetings, my name is Glenn Rogers and I created this fundraiser to help out a close friend and his family as their son has become hospitalized with pneumonia.

Micah is the 6, almost 7-year-old son of my good friend and long time paramedic/first responder Darryl Watts and Cassandra Watts. Micah lives near Amarillo, Texas with his mother, Cassie. Micah had been suffering from a respiratory infection for several weeks that persisted despite being under doctors care. A few days ago (Dec 16th/17th) Micah became acutely worse and his mother brought him to the ER. It was discovered that the infection had started to run rampant filling one lung and causing fluids to accumulate in his chest cavity requiring a chest tube to be placed to take pressure off his heart & lungs. He is currently in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and the doctors have given a tentative estimate of 2-3 weeks in just the ICU alone.

Darryl lives & works here in California and Cassie lives in Amarillo. They are going to need all the help they can get to cover medical expenses & co-pays, travel costs, time off work, the expenses of life, etc. while they try to be by their son's side. This is hitting hard for reasons not just related to the holiday season and they are gonna need some help. The financial ripple effect will disastrously effect them! Many of you who see this know Darryl and Cassie as a friends, coworkers or as a fellow first responder. I just ask that you please do anything you can to help them out during this time of crisis.
