December 23, 2022 9-year-old Mia was taken to her community hospital and diagnosed with flu A, strep A, which became comorbid and gave her sepsis and pneumonia. She was intubated (placed on a ventilator) and taken to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Due to her global organ failure we had to put her on life saving medicines. This medicine saved her life and killed her toes. She has had multiple operations including amputation of her toes for her survival.

Mia is now in Rehab and still trying EVERY day.

The funds will be used to take care of Rent/utilities and any special treatments, medical devices, and therapies she may need.

I'm asking you to dig deep. I know times are hard, and things are tight. We want Mia to have the best chance at a new chance at life.
